For example, Alsharif and Atweh (2012) in Saudi Arabia modeled the Productive Pedagogies framework in preservice teachers' education programs to develop their pedagogical practices during their field experience. Alsharif and Atweh (2012) introduced the framework to their pre-service teachers in a unit on mathematics education for a semester after which the preservice teachers were observed during their field experience in the following semester to ascertain their level of understanding and the used of the Productive Pedagogies framework.…”
