“…Srivastava et al 48 improved the flexural strength of carbon fiber epoxy composites by coating GNP on the fibers which leads the development of a continuous interphase between the fiber and the epoxy. Ojha et al 49 subjected the glass fiber-reinforced composite containing GNP to a tensile test in order to investigate the tensile strength of the composite. They observed that failure of the composite occurs through the damage initiation and its growth in the matrix and the sample has been cut from the unidirectional pultruded composite under tensile test, and found out that the addition of 0.1 wt.% GNP in the resin can increase tensile strength by 12% and the longitudinal modulus of the composite by 7%.…”
