“…No significant changes in the thermal properties of the glass can be observed after drawing except for the slight decrease in T g . Whereas the ΔT value of the investigated glass is low compared to that of Barium Phosphate Glasses reported between 175 and 250°C [22] and to that of tellurite glasses reported at 178°C in [23], it is larger than 100°C confirming the reasonable thermal stability of this glass.…”

“…The accuracy of the temperatures obtained was estimated at ±3°C. The thermal processability window was calculated as Δ T = T x − T g , as done earlier in (Ahmed, Shaharuddin, Sharmin, Furniss, & Rudd, ; Brauer, Brückner, Tylkowski, & Hupa, ; Fagerlund & Hupa, ; Massera, Ahmed, Petit, Aallos, & Hupa, ; Massera et al, ).…”

“…The T x (onset of crystallization temperature) and the T p (crystallization temperature) were ascertained as the beginning and the maximum, respectively, of the exothermic peak. The accuracy of the temperatures obtained was estimated at ±3 C. The thermal processability window was calculated as ΔT = T x − T g , as done earlier in (Ahmed, Shaharuddin, Sharmin, Furniss, & Rudd, 2015;Brauer, Brückner, Tylkowski, & Hupa, 2016;Fagerlund & Hupa, 2016;Massera, Ahmed, Petit, Aallos, & Hupa, 2014;Massera et al, 2010).…”

“…In our previous work, we found that by adding of Bi 2 O 3 , the multi-component TeO 2 -ZnO-Bi 2 O 3 (TZB) glass shows lower phonon energy, larger refractive index, and as a result of a better~2 μm emission [6]. More recently, Massera et al fabricated the core-clad TeO 2 -ZnO-Bi 2 O 3 fibers with the propagation loss of 2.1 dB/m at 1.5 μm [7], which indicates that the TZB glass could be a promising material for fiber lasers. In this work, a TeO 2 -ZnO-Bi 2 O 3 (TZB) glass is selected as a Tm 3+ /Yb 3+ codoping matrix, the Judd-Oflet parameters, spontaneous radiative probability, and radiative lifetime of Tm 3+ are calculated.…”
