Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar kimia peserta didik pada materi hidrokarbon melalui penerapan process oriented guided inquiry learning kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah Kedawung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keaktifan pembelajaran peserta didik pada proses pembelajaran. Pada kegiatan prasiklus keaktifan peserta didik diperoleh rata-rata skor 41,42, siklus I dengan skor 61,42 dan siklus II dengan skor 78,57. Hasil belajar peserta didik juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari prasiklus diperoleh rata-rata nilai 63,69, siklus I sebesar 71,36 dan siklus II sebesar 79,08. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model process oriented guided inquiry learningdapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah Kedawung Cirebon.

This study aims to study the effect of problem-based learning integrated STEM and non-STEM learning models in improving critical thinking skills and their differences of learning process. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control design. The population of all students in class X science with non-probability sampling was 36 students each. The instruments used were observation sheets, description questions, and questionnaires. The results showed that the average percentage of STEM-integrated problem-based learning implementation was 96.00% and 93.00% without STEM, both of which showed very good results. The average critical thinking ability of students in the STEM integrated problem-based learning class is 71% and 59% without STEM, this is shown by the average value of the STEM integrated problem-based learning classes is greater than without STEM. The linear regression test using STEM integrated problem-based learning has a positive effect on critical thinking skills 2.251, t-count > t-table (3.756 > 2.032), Ho is rejected Ha is accepted, and without STEM there is no effect on critical thinking skills, with a t-count <t-table (2.016 < 2.032). The results showed that the STEM-integrated problem-based learning model had a positive effect on students' critical thinking skills on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials.

The aims of this research were to obtain the eligibility of the POGIL e-worksheet to improve students' critical thinking skills on reaction rate material in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness criteria. The type of research was research and development using the ADDIE development model with three stages, Analyze, Design, and Development. The research was obtain validity from the validation sheet in terms of the eligibility of content, presentation, language, and design getting mode ≥ 3 so it was declared valid. Practicality was obtained from a response questionnaire supported by a student activity observation sheet. Overall practicality of the response questionnaire has 89.09% (very practical), while the learner activity observation sheet getting mode = 1. Effectiveness was obtained from the pretest and posttest of critical thinking skills supported by student learning results. The result of the critical thinking skills test got N-gain, 0.929 Interpretation, 0.722 Analysis, 0.694 Evaluation, 0.556 Inference, and 0.933 Explanation and obtained a significance value of 0 in the paired sample t-test so it was concluded there was an increase in students' critical thinking skills in reaction rate material after using POGIL e-worksheet. The learning outcomes test data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed rank test has 0 probability value, then it can be concluded there is an increase in student learning outcomes in reaction rate material after using the POGIL e-worksheet. Based on the results of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, the development of the POGIL e-worksheet is feasible.
