With the development and progress of society, great changes have taken place in educational concepts and teaching models compared with the past. Faced with the new educational concept of advocating diversified teaching modes and all-round talent training, the teaching space under the traditional single-fixed teaching mode is insufficient. The field of digital media education is a form of education with the development of information technology. The purpose of this paper is to find out the construction form of teaching space under the new educational concept that adapts to the development of the social era and to respond to the constantly updated and emerging educational concept and teaching mode. The process is as follows: based on the collected education data, mining the specific factors that will affect the application ability of teachers’ digital education resources and building a multiple machine learning regression model using these objective and significant features to predict the score of teachers’ digital education resources application ability. Through the comparison and optimization of model performance, a more suitable prediction method was found. MSE, MAE, RMSE, and MAPE are used as performance evaluation indicators to compare the performance of each model. It is found that there are multilayer linear regression < mild gradient advance < extreme gradient advance < random forest in each indicator. In addition, in the two integration models, bagging idea represented by the random forest is more suitable for this group than two gradient boosting.

Digital Literacy from 2018-2021: A scientometric study of the literature

Digital literacy has been receiving a lot of attention from the academic community. The aim of the study is to examine and analyse the current research status in the areas of digital literacy over the four years from 2018 to 2021. By using the keywords “digital literacy” “digital skills” and “digital competence”, this study retrieved 3057 articles from the Web of Science from 2018 to 2021. These journals are then analyzed using the Web of Science analytical search results service and the VOSviewer application based on scientometric methods. The study finds that there has been a largely upward trend in scholarly research in the field of digital literacy over these four years. Europe and the United States have contributed the most research in this field. Digital literacy is multidisciplinary, there are five main themes in this area of research: digital literacy, digital skills, higher education, education and the digital divide, with several sub-themes under each theme. The findings indicate that there does not seem to be a globally agreed definition of digital literacy and there are limitations to the existing tools for measuring digital literacy in the education field. Hence, future research could be done to determine a more inclusive measure of digital literacy that can be used in different contexts.

En la actualidad, el avance progresivo de la tecnología ha generado que se emplee diversas herramientas digitales en la formación universitaria. Ello implica un cambio en la manera de cómo los docentes impartían las clases, ya que ahora deben aplicar recursos virtuales que propicien un aprendizaje interactivo en su práctica educativa. Para ello, es esencial la adquisición de competencias digitales; debido a que involucran un conjunto de habilidades. En ese sentido, el objetivo del presente artículo es analizar, a partir de diversas fuentes actuales, la importancia de desarrollar competencias digitales en docentes del nivel superior, así como ciertos aspectos que se deben tomar en cuenta para su adecuada utilización. Para ello, se empleó la investigación de tipo documental cuyo método es de análisis-síntesis. Asimismo, se realizó una revisión general del quehacer educativo en contexto actual, considerando la presencia de una nueva pandemia por la covid-19 y cómo ello ha puesto en evidencia ciertas debilidades en el manejo de la tecnología por parte de algunos docentes. De la misma manera, se hizo una síntesis sobre el uso de las tecnologías en la formación universitaria; observándose su innegable relevancia a través de plataformas que permiten alojar materiales, foros, clases grabadas y evaluaciones online. También, se analizó la imperiosa necesidad de la adquisición y posterior desarrollo de competencias digitales en los docentes del nivel superior, y se concluyó que este se logrará partiendo de un proceso que implica el conocimiento de herramientas tecnológicas hasta su correcta aplicación. Es importante considerar que no solo se trata de aspectos técnicos, sino de un conjunto de habilidades pedagógicas que incluyen la formación emocional, ética y cultural en medio de una sociedad eminentemente tecnológica.
