Currently, the furious competitiveness in global markets and speedy improvements in information technology lead to shorter product life cycles, lesser transportation capabilities, and increased demands as well. In most business scenarios, the supply chain network is becoming one of the most vital focusing areas. In the supply chain network, blockchain technology is a promising solution for secure information sharing. However, it is a bit critical in maintaining security at each level of the blockchain and hence the public-private-key cryptography is more commonly preferred. This study intends to construct a new privacy preservation model in the field of supply chain networks based on blockchain technology by undergoing three major phases, namely, (a) data sanitization, (b) key generation, and (c) restoration. Further, the sensitive fields in the original data are selected during the data sanitization phase, and in the key generation phase; the optimal key is generated to hide the selected sensitive fields. The hidden data with the secured key is transferred from the source (manufacturer) to destination (vendor) in the supply chain network via the blockchain. The restoration process takes place in the receiver side with the help of the same key. Among all these data flow methods, the optimal key selection is the critical issue that needs to be overridden to make the data transmission secured. As a novelty, a new optimization algorithm referred to as Whale with New Crosspoint-based Update (WNU), which is the advanced version of Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA), is developed here to select the optimal key. Finally, the proposed WNU model is analyzed in terms of Hiding Failure (HF) rate, Information Preservation (IP) Rate, and False Rule generation (FR), and Degree of Modification (DM). The proposed secured information sharing in supply chain management (SCM) with blockchain technology will be validated by comparing it over the traditional models in terms of security as well.

Data preservation is the mechanism of protecting and safeguarding the confidentiality and integrity of data. Data stored in huge databases may contain metadata, elements that may be imprecise and unstable, It may include sensitive data, personal profiles and so on, which is vulnerable to third parties such as hackers or attackers. They may misuse the data and as a consequence of this the confidentiality and privacy of the data gets lost. There is a need to conserve the data and make it available for reuse when needed. Hence, it needs a proficient method to maintain and protect individuals' data privacy regarding confidentiality and reliability. This paper intends to develop an advanced model for privacy preservation of huge data with the accomplishment of two stages, namely data sanitization and data restoration. Data sanitization process preserves the safety of sensitive data stored in huge databases, by means of hiding those sensitive data from unauthorized users. Data restoration is the process of recovering or restoring of data that is sanitized at the sender side. Concerning the secrecy, there is a need for an optimal key to hide the sensitive data at sender as well as receiver side. Subsequent to the data sanitization, it requires the same key to restore the sanitized data. Thus, the optimal key generation plays a vital role to maintain privacy preservation. In order to choose an optimal key, a modified Rider optimization Algorithm (ROA) named as Randomized ROA (RROA) model is implemented in this work. Furthermore, the efficiency of the proposed work is compared over the state‐of‐the‐arts models by concerning the sanitization as well as restoration efficiency.

Crow Search Algorithm: Theory, Recent Advances, and Applications

In this paper, a comprehensive overview of the Crow Search Algorithm (CSA) is introduced with detailed discussions, which is intended to keep researchers interested in swarm intelligence algorithms and optimization problems. CSA is a new swarm intelligence algorithm recently developed, which simulates crow behavior in storing excess food and retrieving it when needed. In the optimization theory, the crow is the searcher, the surrounding environment is the search space, and randomly storing the location of food is a feasible solution. Among all food locations, the location where the most food is stored is considered to be the global optimal solution, and the objective function is the amount of food. By simulating the intelligent behavior of crows, CSA tries to find optimal solutions to various optimization problems. It has gained a considerable interest worldwide since its advantages like simple implementation, a few numbers of parameters, flexibility, etc. This survey introduces a comprehensive variant of CSA, including hybrid, modified, and multi-objective versions. Furthermore, based on the analyzed papers published in the literature by some publishers such as IEEE, Elsevier, and Springer, the comprehensive application scenarios of CSA such as power, computer science, machine learning, civil engineering have also been reviewed. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of CSA have been discussed by conducting some comparative experiments with other similar published peers.
