“…It can be concluded that the BWM method, although relatively new, has found wide application in various fields (Mi et al ., 2019). Some of the most recent applications of this method in the areas of logistics, agri-food and circular economy, which are the focus of this research, are for green supplier selection (Wang et al ., 2022), the evaluation of the sustainability drivers in the context of Industry 4.0 externalities (El Baz et al ., 2022), land evaluation for paddy cultivation (Everest et al ., 2022) and the evaluation of the environmental impacts of recycling (Soner et al ., 2022), prioritizing COVID-19 recovery solutions (Haqbin et al ., 2022).
