[1][2][3][4][5] Previous reports have recorded localized conjunctival amyloid induced by allergic eye disease, 6 trachoma, 7 eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis, 8 and strabismus surgery. 9 We document the clinical and histopathologic features of a patient who developed a unilateral conjunctival mass, around a radial explant performed for retinal detachment surgery that biopsy showed to be amyloid deposits, a scenario previously unreported.…”
