Localized Conjunctival Al-Amyloid Deposits Secondary to a Retinal Detachment Surgery Radial Explant

Abstract: We describe a 72-year-old man who developed ptosis and a conjunctival mass around a radial segment explant for retinal detachment surgery. Biopsy showed the mass to be amyloid of AL type and localized in nature, not previously described as a complication of retinal detachment surgery.
