This study aims to investigate and describe the application of the blue ocean strategy (BOS) in the Nature Elementary School Purwakarta. This research is a qualitative description model. Data collection is done through interviews, documentation, and observation. Respondents involved foundation managers, supervisors, school principals, teachers, parents, students, and community leaders who understand the development of education. Data were analyzed using triangulation techniques. The results showed that the Purwakarta nature elementary school was successful in implementing the blue ocean strategy through the creation of innovation, differentiation and quality improvement through the 4 steps of BOS Eliminate, Reduce, Raise, Create (ERRC). Philosophy, vision and mission, curriculum development, flagship programs, improvement of infrastructure, the use of technology and the development of human resources are key components that will enable the school to create its own blue ocean space. Another finding is that institutions without uniqueness and superiority tend to make them take pseudo advantages which make them just imitate and eventually get tired and give up in competition. So it is important to make blue ocean as a tool for educational organizations to be at an advantage without competition by implementing blue ocean strategy scientific procedures that have proven successful in business, industry and also education.

Conducting migration studies is of vital importance to Turkey, a country which has been experiencing migration throughout history due to its “open doors policy”. The objective of this study is to evaluate the strategic management of migration in Turkey in order to deal with the issue of migration. The main focus of the study is Syrian migrants who sought refuge in Turkey due to the civil war that broke out in their country in April 2011. This study demonstrates the policies and processes followed by Turkey for Syrian migration flow in terms of the social acceptance and harmonisation of the migrants within a democratic environment. The study addresses some statistical facts and issues related to Syrian migration as it has become an integral part of daily life in Turkey. The study also reviews how human rights are protected in the migration process. The study will provide insights for developing sound strategic management policies for the migration issue.

Purpose:The term ocean strategy means market and the strategy in reference of being blue focuses on creating a very new segment which is yet to be developed as a full fledge market and termed the other industrial strategies to be as red ocean strategies. The article investigates the existence of red ocean strategy. Design/Methodology/Approach: A literature review of the most influancial articles in this subject. Findings: The authors mentioned that there are six common managerial beliefs as how to overcome competition in the business which they referred where false interpretations and named as red ocean traps. Practical Implications: Excessive exploitation of existing demands by making a better offer to customers with a view to beat competition is termed as red ocean strategy. Originality/Value: This review is the first to offer an in-depth overview of red ocean traps and red ocean strategy.
