Prevalência de constipação intestinal em estudantes de fisioterapia de uma Universidade de Maceió/AL

Abstract: RESUMOIntrodução: a Constipação Intestinal (CI) é caracterizada pelo funcionamento inadequado do trato intestinal. “…Tratando-se dos sintomas baseados no critério de Roma III, todos apresentaram alta significância estatística entre os indivíduos constipados, começando pela frequência evacuatória (53,6% de 0 à 3 vezes por semana; p˂0,001), esforço evacuatório (62,5%; p˂0,001), sensação de evacuação incompleta (50%; p=0,012), fezes endurecidas ou fragmentadas (72,1%; p˂0,001), manobras manuais para facilitar a evacuação (16,4%; p=0,014) e sensação de obstrução anal ao evacuar (31,1%; p=0,004).
