“…In order to further illustrate the interaction between MPA and resin matrix, we fitted the peak infrared spectra of the composite in the range of 3000–3700 cm −1 , and the results are shown in Figure 1F,G and Table S2. Compared with BPR and PABPR, the intermolecular hydrogen bond of MPABPR increases significantly, which is ascribed to the hydrogen bond between NH 2 on the MPA surface and resin matrix 34 . The hydrogen bonding between MPA and resin matrix is beneficial to enhance the binding force between MPA and BPR.…”

“…Anhydrous calcium chloride (10 g) was placed in a weighing bottle with a diameter of 6 mm and the mouth of the weighing bottle was sealed with the xylan-based SOP preservative film. After recoding the initial weight, the weighing bottle was placed in an environment with a relative humidity of 75% for 7 d and weighed every 24 h. 29 Each sample was tested three times and an average value was taken. The WVT of the film was calculated using eqn (3).where W is the increased weight of the weighing bottle (g), A is the effective area of the weighing bottle mouth (m 2 ), and t is the testing time (h).…”

The thermal stability of the xylan-based SOP preservative films was measured by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), using an 8122 TGA-DTA instrument (Rigaku Co., Ltd, Tokyo, Japan).…”

“…It was speculated that this decrease was due to the uneven cross-linking within the hydrogel caused by excessive PDA doping. The excess intermolecular hydrogen bonds generated defects in localized areas, making the hydrogel more prone to cracking during stretching, leading to a decline in its mechanical properties [30,31]. To further investigate the effect of PDA doping on the internal structure of the hydrogels, the shear viscoelasticity was analyzed at 37 °C.…”
