Abstract:Slow-released anti-mosquito microcapsules finishing agent was prepared using the resin of melamine-formaldehyde as wall and DEET as core by in-situ polymerization. The effects of emulsifier content and oil/water ratio on anti-mosquito finishing agent were investigated. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and laser particle size analyzer were employed to characterize the microcapsules. The optimum synthesis condition was: 3% emulsifier SMA and oil/water ratio at 4:17. Under the conditions, the mean particle size… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
