Oxyfluoride phases have been synthesized in free atmosphere at 950 • C during 4 hours, using the BaTiO 3 perovskite and the fluorides BaF 2 and LiF. The XRD study at room temperature on powder, for various compositions has shown the formation of a new solid solution (1-x)BaTiO 3 -xBaF 2 -xLiF in the range 0 < x ≤ 0.15. Furthermore the XRD analysis indicates the transition of crystalline type from tetragonal to cubic symmetry from the composition x = 0.035. This result can be attributed to the decrease of the covalency bonds in the BX 6 . An electric measurement have showed a PTCR behavior for two compositions, 0.90BaTiO 3 -0.10BaF 2 -0.10LiF and 0.85BaTiO 3 -0.15BaF 2 -0.15LiF.
