“…In addition, the PPN‐ALD‐200 displays three O peaks with binding energies of 529.9, 531.1, and 532.5 eV, which are associated with the lattice oxygen of TiO 2 , OH, and H 2 O, respectively (Figure S3, Supporting Information). [ 35,36 ] The binding energies of Ti 2p 1/2 and Ti 2p 3/2 peaks were 464.14 and 458.53 eV, respectively. FTIR data indicate that the broad absorption band of PPN‐ALD‐200 at 3400 cm is attributed to the stretching vibrations of OH groups (Figure S4, Supporting Information).…”

“…An interesting feature is that the carbon peak showed a drastic change after the long‐term experiment. In particular, the C Sub (C bonded to the substrate, i. e. C−Ti) was significantly increased is carbon bonded to the substrate (Figure b), while other peaks (Figure c and d) especially Pt reduced significantly. The XPS survey (Figure a) and EDX analysis (Figure S3) of these areas did not show any additional foreign species, but taken together with the increased carbon signal we tentatively assign the bright layer on top of the TiO 2 in the SEM to be carbonaceous material.…”
