Preparation and Characterization of Cassava Starch - Polyvinyl Alcohol nanocomposites for Control Drug Release of Paclitaxel

Abstract: Abstract:In this study, we developed encapsulating Paclitaxel drug in Cassava starch -Polyvinyl alcohol/cloisite 30B [PLX-CSH-PVA/C30B] nanocomposites. CSH-PVA/C30B were characterized by FTIR, XRD.The PLX-loaded CSH-PVA/C30B was evaluated by particle size, surface charge, entrapment efficacy, and effect of pH in drug release profile.
