Prenatal Findings, Perinatal Management and Postoperative Course in a Child Suffering From a Cavernous Tumour of the Thalamus

Abstract: Das zerebrale kavernöse Hämangiom oder Kavernom wurde erstmals 1854 von Luschka beschrieben. Es wird als angeborene, gutartige Gefäûfehlbildung im Gehirn (Blutgefäûhamartom), bestehend aus dünnwandigen, erweiterten Gefäûräumen ohne dazwischenliegendes Nervengewebe, definiert. Das zerebrale Kavernom wird oft als ¹okkulteª zerebrale Gefäûfehlbildung bezeichnet, da es in der Gefäûangiographie nicht darstellbar ist.
