“…According to Lee and Dang (2019c), for the three last decades, a significant change in precipitation has been recorded in the Long Xuyen Quadrilateral. Specifically, a slight upward trend in annual precipitation is recorded in the eastern and northern sub-regions, whereas a significant downward trend is found in the western and southern sub-regions, and this may be negatively impacted, leading to drought and flooding in the Long Xuyen Quadrilateral (Lee and Dang, 2019a;Kontgis et al, 2019).
