Higher values were found by Souza et al (2017), who reported 8.19 mg g-1 for the dry mass of black oat cut at 80 days and 15.97 mg g-1 for the dry mass of radish cut at 60 days. Such variation in the research results might be ascribed to several factors that interfere in the concentration of phenols produced by the plants such as: weather conditions, nutritional status and the plant development stage (Pires & Oliveira, 2011;Farooq et al 2020).…”
