“…While other authors (Nelson;Huffman, 2015) have already analysed the presence of predatory journals in some specific databases, this research takes advantage of the wide coverage of the MIAR matrix (Rodríguez-Gairín; SomozaFernández; Urbano, 2011) to verify to what extent the journals considered predatory have been selected for appearing in more than 100 bibliographic databases.
