“…A direct current (DC) power supply (80 V/10 A) with continuous variable output was used. The SMF strength was achieved via altering the current in the coils of the electromagnet, 200 mT for 1 h of SMF treatment was given to soybean seeds, which is based on earlier studies (Shine et al , Kataria et al ). The probe is attached to the digital gauss meter ( AETech model DGM‐102), which was used for quantification of the SMF strength produced between the poles, variations of 1.2% in vertical and 0.4% in horizontal direction of the applied field were noted.…”
