pp Coulomb Phase Shift for Different Proton Charge Distributions

Abstract: AbstmctThe dependence of the pp Coulomb phase shift on the form of the proton charge distribution function is studied and discussed. The uniform, exponential and Gaussian distributions are used. The dependence-on the form of the charge distribution for impact parameter values less than the radius of the proton is clear. The charge distribution effect leads to a decrease in the absolute value of the Coulomb phase shift.
