Powerful Nd: YAG laser with passiveQ-switch

Abstract: A high-energy output Nd: YAG laser has been designed and constructed with passive F2−: LiF Q-switch, unstable resonator and one-stage amplifier. The experiments were carried out to choose the optimum low-intensity transmission of F2−: LiF shutter. The developed laser operates with repetition rate 10pps, pulse energy 1.2J and beam divergence 0.5mr.
