Preduzetništvo mladih, kao svojevrsno obeležje društvenog napretka, u zemljama EU zastupljeno je kao oblast izučavanja na svim nivoima formalnog obrazovanja. Iako je u Srbiji taj trend nedovoljno prisutan, od izuzetnog značaja je identifikovati činioce koji utiču na stavove srednjoškolaca i studenata prilikom izbora budućeg zanimanja. Bez obzira na to što mladi, uglavnom, pozitivno percepiraju preduzetništvo, mali broj njih pokreće sopstveni posao. Kao najveću prepreku za realizaciju preduzetničke ideje prepoznaju nepovoljan društveni ambijent, gde dominiraju finansijski zahtevi u početnim fazama poslovanja, visoki poreski nameti, ali i zakonska regulativa, institucionalne podrške, itd. Rezultati istraživanja prikazani u ovom radu ukazuju na moguće razloge ovakvih stavova ispitanika, kao i na činjenicu da mladi najviše poverenja imaju u svoju porodicu i prijatelje, a da najmanje veruju državnim institucijama i bankama. As a kind of hallmark of social progress, youth entrepreneurship is represented as a field of study at all levels of formal education in the EU countries. While this trend is insufficiently present in Serbia, it is of great importance to identify the factors that influence the attitudes of high school students and university students in the choice of future profession. Although young people, generally, have positive perceptions on entrepreneurship, a small number of them start their own businesses. As the greatest obstacle in the realization of entrepreneurial ideas, they recognize the unfavourable social environment, i.e. above all, the financial requirements in the initial stages of doing business, high tax levies, legislation, as well as the lack of institutional support. Research results presented in this paper indicate the possible reasons for such respondents' attitudes, as well as the fact that young people have most trust in their families and friends, and least trust in state institutions and banks.
