Potentiometric Membrane Sensors for Levamisole Determination

Abstract: The ion pair (IP) of levamisole with BiI4 - (SbI4 - ) for the levamisole-selective sensor with a PVC membrane containing - ions were developed. Thermal behavior of obtained IP was investigated by differential thermal analysis that would show the thermal stability and the character of the decomposition of the complex. The thermolysis of Lev+BiI4 - IP undergoes three stages that fit a theoretical interpretation. The linearity ranges of levamisole sensors function are 7.9 ×10-6 – 1×10-1 (7.9 ×10-5 – 1×10-… Show more

“…The antioxidant activity of the extracts and samples of the cosmetic emulsion with the addition of extracts was determined by the Oyaizu method (FRAP method) [18] and by the ability of antioxidants to Organoleptic (appearance, color, odor), physical and chemical properties (colloidal and thermal stability, pH) samples of cosmetic emulsion were determined according to literature [19][20][21] .…”

“…HPLC was used to quantify LTS alone 22,23 and in the presence of other drugs such as albendazole, 24 heparin and pentobarbital, 25 abamectin, 26 and thiabendazole. 27 Also, an electrophoretic technique 28,29 and electroanalytical approaches [30][31][32] have been applied for its determination. Spectroscopic techniques [33][34][35] (including extractive spectrophotometric, 34 and ultraviolet methods 36 ), luminescence, 37 and the atomic absorption spectrometric method 38 have also been used.…”
