Background Coronavirus has spread rapidly around the world. This epidemic has created stress and anxiety for pregnant women in different parts of the world. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between quality of life (QoL) with anxiety, depression, corona disease anxiety, sexual function (SF), and marital satisfaction (MS) in pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods The present study is a cross-sectional study involving 260 pregnant women. The Short-Form Health Survey (SF_12), Marital Satisfaction Scale (MSS), Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI), Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), and coronary disease anxiety questionnaire, Padua Obsession Questionnaire, General Health Questionnaire (GHQ) are used for data collection. Data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis. Result The overall goodness-of-fit statistics revealed that the predictors of QOL had perfectly good fitness indices (RMSEA=0.02; AGFI=0.99). The results show that corona related anxiety, marital satisfaction (MS), sexual function (SF), depression, and anxiety have a direct effect on women’s QOL. Among variables, GHQ has a more direct effect on women’s QOL. General health (GH) considered as a mediator variable; variables such as anxiety, depression, and Corona-related Anxiety with effect on GH can impress QOL. Anxiety as a main predictor of QOL, with direct, and indirect effects through GH, depression, SF, and MS can impress QOL. Conclusion Since the QoL in pregnant women is associated with coronavirus epidemics, these results can be used to plan to improve the health and QoL of these people.

Introduction: Stress is one of the effective factors in the occurrence of negative effects during pregnancy that can cause adverse outcomes such as preterm delivery and reduced intrauterine growth of the fetus in pregnant women. Therefore, one of the serious concerns during the COVID-19 Pandemic is the physical health and mental health of pregnant women. This study aimed to evaluate the physical health status with the spiritual and mental health of pregnant women during the COVID-19 Pandemic.Methods: The study is a descriptive study in 2019-2020 and the samples were randomly selected from all pregnant women who referred to hospitals and private maternity centers before and during the COVID-19 Pandemic and performed all pregnancy and fetal health tests. It was performed on 560 pregnant female samples. The mental status of pregnant women was assessed using the DASS Spiritual Health and Stress Questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using SPSS statistical software (version 24).Result: The results of this study showed that preterm birth, height, weight and head circumference of babies and lungs and respiratory status of children with mental health and stress levels of pregnant women during the corona is significant compared to the previous of corona (p<0.05).Conclusion: Increasing stress and decreasing the mental health of pregnant women during COVID-19 Pandemic can increase the influencing factors in preterm delivery and unhealthy birth.

Autopsy data from 80 patients who died of the COVID-19 infection were analysed. Using macro- and microscopic studies, specific features of pathological processes in various organs were identified. The obtained experimental data, along with information from literature sources, allowed conclusions to be drawn about the mechanisms of damaging internal organs and body systems, as well as assumptions to be made about individual links in the pathogenesis of COVID-19. The thanatogenesis of the disease and the main causes of death are discussed, including acute cardiopulmonary failure, acute renal failure, pulmonary thromboembolism, shock involving multiple organ failure and sepsis. The critical importance of autopsy is emphasized, which provides valuable information on the morphological substrate for this infection closely associated with possible clinical manifestations.
