Portable multi‐gray scale video playing scheme for high‐performance electrowetting displays

Abstract: Electrowetting display technology is realized by tuning the surface energy of a hydrophobic surface by applying a voltage based on electrowetting mechanism. Electrowetting displays have favorable optical properties combined with reflective paper‐like performance. It has been successfully demonstrated in reflective mode with high switching speed.
