Abstract: The pyrene-based atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) initiator of 1-pyrenemethyl 2-bromoisobutyrate (PMBriB) was applied to the photo-induced radical polymerization of methyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, and styrene.
