Polymorphism and melt in high-pressure tantalum. II. Orthorhombic phases

Abstract: Continuing uncertainty in the high-pressure melt curves of bcc transition metals has spawned renewed research interest in the phase diagrams of these materials, with tantalum becoming an important prototype.
