Nowadays there is a wide range of applications for WebGIS which can add great value to modern economic, and building WebGIS system for specific scenarios is the common requirement of the industry. While currently separate WebGIS systems are deployed at different sites and operated by different owners, each of which has the whole set of functionalities of WebGIS, and thus introduce high cost of development and maintenance, which is a waste of resources as most of the functionalities are the same or similar. An edge computing based WebGIS architecture is proposed in the paper to meet the need of customization by applying the idea of SaaS. In this distributed architecture, the resource load is reasonably balanced between the server and the browser, which improves the overall performance of the system. Also it utilizes edge computing to reduce the pressure on the server by sharing map tiles among WebGIS clients. The proposed WebGIS system can not only be well customized and personalized as it is edge computing base, but also be well usable for large number of visits due to its distributed feature. The experiments show 5 concurrent requests per second, as well as response speed increases by more than 38.6% against traditional deployment. Saat ini kontes burung berkicau sudah sangat menjamur dan menjadi trend di kota Malang. Dengan banyaknya pendatang baru dalam dunia kicau burung, masih banyak orang yang belum mengetahui lokasi tempat kontes burung berkicau di kota Malang. Saat ini sudah ada sekitar 20 tempat kontes burung berkicau di kota Malang belum termasuk tempat kontes yang berada diwilayah kabupaten dan kota Batu. Dengan sedikitnya informasi tentang lokasi kontes burung di kota malang pada penelitian ini penulis membuat sistem informasi geografis pemetaan lokasi kontes burung berkicau di kota Malang berbasis web,pengembangan sistem informasi ini dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan waterfall. Dengan adanya sistem informasi ini diharapkan bagi para kicau mania kota Malang maupun dari luar kota bisa mengetahui dimana lokasi kontes burung yang akan mereka tuju.

Regional Disparities of Health Center Utilization in Rural Indonesia

One indicator to see the quality of health system performance was to look at the disparity in the utilization of healthcare facilities. The research objective was to analyze the disparity between regions in the utilization of health centers in rural areas in Indonesia. The results of the 2013 Basic Health Survey (Riskesdas) were used as analysis material. The 2013 Riskesdas was designed a cross-sectional survey. Respondents obtained 388,598 using the multi-stage cluster random sampling method. Binary Logistic Regression Test was used to analyze data. Data is obtained through a structured questionnaire. The results showed that there were statistically significant disparities between regions. All regions showed better utilization than the Papua region as a reference. The best utilization was in the Sumatra region, which was 3.781 times more utilizing health centers than the Papua region (OR = 3.781; 95% CI = 3.580-3.993). The utilization of health centres that approached the Papua region was the Nusa Tenggara region (OR = 1.582; 95% CI = 1.490-1.679) and the Maluku region (OR = 2.175; 95% 1.999–2.366). All three regions are all in the Eastern part of Indonesia. The research concluded there was a disparity in health center utilization between regions in rural Indonesia. Regions in the western part of Indonesia tend to have better health center utilization in rural areas. Research results could be used as a reference for making policies that focus on equality of services to reduce existing disparities.
