Poly-(L-Lactic) Acid Membranes in Palatal Surgery in Beagle Dogs: Clinical and Histologic Evaluation

In de Braekt et al [8,9] reported fracture of porous PLLA films (My = 220 kg/mol, thickness 110 lam, porosity range 0.5 ~m to 1.0 ~m) into several small parts starting after the first week of implantation on the palate of Beagle dogs.
