“…In his recent historical research the German psychoanalyst Bernd Nitzschke has shown that Reich was expelled from the International Psychoanalytic Association-at that time under the reign of Anna Freud and Ernest Jones-because as a known anti-Fascist he was intolerable for an organisation that was trying to make a 'deal with the devil' (Lothane 2001) and did not want to alienate those who had recently come to power in Germany, the newly elected Nazi party (cf.
