We demonstrate a novel transmission scheme based on a combination of PolSK and chirped duobinary transmission called chirped duobinary PolSK, which is used for improving the SPM nonlinear limit induced by high launch power in long-haul optic transmission. We report the performance of chirped duobinary PolSK transmission compared to the chirp-free duobinary transmission or chirp-free duobinary PolSK transmission and chirped duobinary transmission. The simulation results show chirped duobinary PolSK transmission enlarges the dispersion limited transmission distance, increases the dispersion tolerance and overcome the SPM nonlinear limit.
