Polar additions of chlorine monofluoride and chlorine fluorosulfate to fluorinated isocyanates

Abstract

Sprenger, Wright, and Shreeve reference is cited in the table. Data for new compounds and new data for known compounds are given below and in Table II.Reaction of (CF3)2 C=NH with S206F2. The relative amounts of the products [(CF3)2C=N]2, (CF3)2C=N0S02F, and (CF3)2C-(0S02F)N=N(0S02F)C(CF3)2 varied randomly from reaction to reaction. They were purified using gas chromatography and the latter two compounds were characterized. (CF3)2C=N0S02F. Nuclear magnetic resonance, infrared, and mass spectral data are given in Table II. The equation log Pmm = 9.22 -2180/ describes the vapor pressure curve over the temperature range from 309 to 339°K from which // (9.9 kcal/mol), ASV (28.8 eu), and the boiling point (71°) are obtained.
