Students in Malang is derived from the background of a diverse culture. Students nomads have a community called the organization of the area. The interaction between culture is very prone to conflict and friction that a very harmful. The prevention of conflict can be done with poly-culturalism or the belief that each group has interact with each other and provide a positive influence. But the cohesiveness of the group owned by a regional organization as the internal strength of the group can be a barrier in the relationship between the organization of the area. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a correlation between group cohesiveness with poly-culturalism on student nomads in Malang. This research is a quantitative research, using purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument used the Group Cohesiveness Scale and Poly-culturalism Scale. The results showed that there is a positive significant relationship between group cohesiveness and poly-culturalism on student nomads in Malang. Group cohesiveness which is owned by the students of the nomads in Malang does not inhibit the formation of poly-culturalism.

<p><em>The prince of Mas Sahid or Mangkunegara I is a figure who has an extraordinary leadership spirit so as to be able to establish mangkunegaran work with a strong army. The paper of this study seeks to understand the concept of mangkunegaran. The paper of this study used literature review method. The emergence of mangkunegaran legions comes from the struggle of The prince of Mas Said along with his followers who feel disillusioned with the government and then injustice done by Paku Buwono II. The embryos of the mangkunegaran legion are soldiers eho fought together with The prince of Mas Said. With “ikrar tiji tibeh” which means if one of the fallen all feel, when one gets happiness then all participate in enjoying it, the way it the purpose of The prince of Mas Said to unite his legions and getting win in the warious battles. In his struggle, The prince Mas Said cooperates with Sunan Kuning and the prince of Mangkubumi. When working with Sunan Kuning, The prince of Mas Sahid is equipped with the ability to set strategies and how to use weapons and then then appointed as a “senopati” with the title of prince of prangwedanan who led 300 death squads of soldiers. The first battle with Sunan Kuning was against the soldiers of Kompeni and soldiers of Ternate and then the prince of Mas Said is winner. After conquering Madiun and Ponorogo, the prince of Mas Said dissever with Sunan Kuning, the prince of Mas Said was later caught and wxiled to Sri Langka. The paper is attempts to reveal the concept of leadership of the prince of Mas Said that managed to win various wars and then united the troops. </em></p>

The rise of slashing as an alternative to profitable work is carried out by the middle to lower class people of Muara Teweh. Passing is done because of the lack of job opportunities so that the community is a source of livelihood. This work for some people in Muara Teweh is only used as a side job because the income from the main job is not enough to meet their daily needs, the purpose of this study is to describe the actions of the BBM slasher, to describe the function of the BBM slasher community group, to analyze the consequences received or experienced by the slasher with the presence of slimming activity. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. Data source selected by purposive sampling. The data collection was carried out by the technique of observation, interview and documentation. Technical data analysis using qualitative analysis with data reduction steps, data presentation and drawing conclusions, shunts The results of the study illustrate the prevalence of be used as a side job, take advantage of living conditions, provide a lot of profit and little capital, the function of the curator group is of two kinds, namely the function of the group for individuals as a means of establish social relations and group functions for the community as social control, the positive impact is for people who are far away facilitate the distribution of fuel to villages, create new job opportunities The negative impact is for the shunters themselves, such as competition between fellow pangsirs, conflicts among shunters and the general public who are currently experiencing queuing for fuel at gas stations, raiding smugglers' losses, paying fines, and confiscation of goods.
