A number of studies have assessed POC diagnostic accuracy of [16À21], costs [9], cost-effectiveness [10] and clinical outcomes [6,8,22] relative to centralized testing, but to our knowledge, this is the first paper that has assessed the feasibility of different adoption strategies for POC viral load monitoring on a national scale. This analysis is also novel in that it incorporates both costs and clinical outcomes and uses facility-level data to match viral load demand to equipment capacity in order to minimize costs.…”
