“…A Voltammetric Procedure for Antifungal Drug Griseofulvin limit of quantitation (LOQ) of 2.88 Â 10 29 M (1.016 ng mL 21 ) griseofulvin in spiked human serum were achieved after preconcentration of the drug onto the HMDE for 80 s. The mean percentage recovery of griseofulvin based on the average of six replicate measurements for 4 Â 10 28 M was found to equal 99.28 + 1.88. The obtained results are more sensitive than those obtained by the reported methods (Kamimura et al 1979;Fishcer and Riegelman 1966;Rundberget and Wilkins 2002;Iguchi et al 1966;Zia et al 1980;Kreuzing 1979;Hackett and Dusci 1978;Aboutabl et al 1980). …”

“…Several analytical methods were reported for determination of griseofulvin including spectrophotometry (Sastry et al 1986;Eladl 1993;Sastry et al 1998), thin-layer chromatography (Fischer and Riegelman 1966), gas chromatography (Kamimura et al 1979), liquid chromatography (Rundberget and Wilkins 2002), gas-liquid chromatography (Iguchi et al 1966), highperformance liquid chromatography (Zia et al 1980;Kreuzig 1979;Hackett and Dusci 1978), and PMR (Aboutabl and Hassan 1980). To date, no voltammetric procedure for assay of griseofulvin is found in literature.…”
