Plasmonic photonic crystal fiber sensor for optical partial discharge detection

Abstract: Detection of partial discharge (PD) is vital to reassure the operation reliability of high voltage (HV) electrical power systems. Optical detection methods have been developed in recent years due to their high sensitivity and immunity to electromagnetic interference.
