Planar Amperometric Glucose Sensor Based on Glucose Oxidase Immobilized by Chitosan Film on Prussian Blue Layer

Abstract: Abstract:A planar amperometric glucose microsensor based on glucose oxidase immobilized by chitosan film on Prussian Blue layer has been developed. The experimental results show that the optimum detection potential is 50 mV (versus Ag/AgCl) and the optimum pH is 6.5. Under the selective conditions the sensor exhibits excellent sensitivity of 98 nA/M and a linear range of 0.1-6.0 mM. The apparent Michanelis-Menten constant of the sensor is 21 mM. The response time is less than 60 seconds. No apparent change in … Show more

“…Enzyme as a type of protein containing hydroxyls, amino, and carboxyl can be immobilised by the interlinkage between the polar groups of chitosan and enzyme. 35,36 Interlinkage between starch and protein also played an important part in restricting the movement of starch.…”

“…The detection methods in microfluidics can be classified into three major types: optical methods, 9, 73-89 electrochemical methods, [90][91][92][93][94][95][96][97][98][99][100][101][102] and mass spectrometry methods. [103][104][105][106][107][108][109][110][111][112][113] Among these methods, optical and electrochemical methods are the most frequently utilized due to their selectivity and sensitivity.…”
