“…As a new type of porous nano-material, Metal organic framework (MOF) material is composed of metal ions or metal clusters as the center and is connected with an organic framework [12]. MOF has the advantages of a high specific surface area, adjustable pore size, etc., has attracted widespread attention and has been used in catalysis [13,14], adsorption [15,16], sensors [17,18], separation [19,20] and other fields. However, in practice, most MOFs are considered too fragile to be used.…”

“…Adsorption and photocatalysis [4][5][6] have been used to remove Cr(VI) from wastewater due to their sustainability, high efficiency, and reasonable cost. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been widely used as adsorbents to remove pollutants from water due to their high surface area, large pore size, tunability, and suitable nanoscale cavities [7]. For example, silver-triazolate MOFs could adsorb Cr(VI) via anion exchange reaction with a maximal adsorption capacity of 37.0 mg/g at 303 K [8].…”

“…To address this issue, the introduction of additives, such as graphene , and porous organic fillers, has been developed, offering great promise in impeding the aging of PIM-1 with maintained gas permeability . Recently, metal–organic framework (MOF)-based mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) have been studied for gas separation. In view of PIM-1 and MOF-based MMMs, the in situ crossing-interface linking route was proposed to bond UiO-66-NH 2 nanoparticles to the growing PIM-1 chains, where the introduced MOFs greatly restrict the free movement of PIM-1 chains in the long run . Although the resulting MMMs demonstrated considerably controlled aging, different kinds of monomers needed to be specifically synthesized, thus complexing the synthetic procedures.…”
