Pilgrimages from the District of Wieluń to the Jasna Góra Monastery (1921–1939)

Abstract: Deep religiousness, beside a typically agricultural character of employment, was one of the most distinguishing features of the inhabitants of the district of Wieluń. It was manifested by i.e., a huge engagement in new forms of Christian ministry, which were initiated in circumstances of unrestricted activity of the Catholic Church after 1918.
