“…The search terms included ("parent*" OR "caregiver*" OR "mother*" OR "father*") AND "physical activity" AND "disabilit*.” For the systematic search, these search terms were entered into the electronic databases PsycINFO, MEDLINE, and PubMed. In addition, a manual search (i.e., cross-checking references) with three review articles related to parents and physical activity behaviors in children with disabilities (Columna, Prieto, Elias-Revolledo, & Haegele, 2019; Ku & Rhodes, 2020; McGarty & Melville, 2018) was implemented by two authors (B.K. and M.C.S) to identify additional studies that were not found in the database search.…”
