Abstract: Cupin/methionyl‐tRNA synthetase (MetRS)‐like didomain enzymes catalyze nitrogen‐nitrogen (N–N) bond formation between Nw‐hydroxylamines and amino acids to generate hydrazines, key biosynthetic intermediates of various natural products containing N–N bonds.
