Phylogenetic Structure of Community of Procariots of Soddy-Podzolic Soil Under the Cover of Winter Rye Is Not Influenced by Agrotechnics

Abstract: Soil microbial communities are complex multicomponent systems that form under the influence of a wide range of factors, among them-soil type, plant species, climate, agricultural technology-in general, determining the physical and chemical characteristics of the environment. The plant, according to many researchers, is the main factor determining the structure of the soil microbial community, due to the extensive number of compounds released into the soil. There is still a discussion about the specific nature … Show more

“…Our results support the hypothesis that rye cover crops could protect against P. syringae by promoting the establishment of potential competitors or plant growth promoting bacteria (PGPB) on the leaf surface. Rye cover cropping led to increases in the abundance of numerous bacterial phyllosphere taxa (60). This included several ASVs belonging to the genus Sphingomonas , which were more abundant with rye cover cropping, especially early in the growing season.…”

“…The studies were carried out in 2013-2016 as part of the long-term field experiment of Russian State Agrarian University, Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, started by Professor A.G. Doyarenko in 1912 (Filippova et al, 2018;Mazirov et al, 2021). The soil of the experimental plot is sod-medium and slightly podzolic, old-arable (more than 200 years under arable land), naturally acidic and floating (according to the FAO classification -Podsolluvisol).…”
