“…Figure 5 a shows the CV curves of 1st, 2nd, and 5th cycles of metallic MoS 2 nanotube and the 1st CV cycle of 2H MoS 2 (black curve). The first discharge of the 2H MoS 2 exhibits two peaks at 0.94 and 0.4 V. In detail, the peak at 0.94 V is attributed to the intercalation of lithium‐ion into the 2H MoS 2 layer, forming Li x MoS 2 , with the phase transformation of trigonal prisms (2H) to octahedral (1T or 1T′) structure . The peak at 0.4 V is ascribed to the conversion from Li x MoS 2 to Li 2 S and Mo nanoparticles .…”

“…Compared with the high‐resolution XPS of MXene/2H MoS 2 ‐C (Figure S9, Supporting Information), the most notable difference in Figure c for MXene/1T‐2H MoS 2 ‐C is that the peaks of S 2p 3/2 and S 2p 1/2 at around 162.2 and 163.4 eV move to the lower energy direction. For N 1s spectra of MXene/1T‐2H MoS 2 ‐C (Figure d), three main peaks located at around 398.6, 400.7, and 401.7 eV, assigned to CN (pyridinic‐N), CN (pyrrolic‐N)) and NMo bonds, respectively. The primary doped species (pyridinic‐N, pyrrolic‐N) enable this carbon matrix to suppress the diffusion of polysulfides .…”

“…2,9,21 Thus, the integration of MoS 2 with conductive CC will guarantee the combination of fast electron transport and superior mechanical stability. [22][23][24] The prerequisites for the design and preparation of an integrated electrode has been studied in the present investigation. Ultrathin MoS 2 nanoakes were anchored on top of the carbon cloth substrate by using a hydrothermal approach (denoted as CC@MoS 2 ).…”
