Phase-selective cathodic stripping voltammetry for determination of water-soluble mercaptans

Abstract: The application of phase-selective cathodic stripping (PSCS) voltammetry to analyses of water-soluble mercaptans has been demonstrated using a micrometer hanging mercury drop electrode. The sensitivity limit was near 1 ppb for sodium mercaptoacetate (SMA) analysis when a 2-mln deposition interval was employed.
