“…Based on the above results, it can be reasonably concluded that the outstanding photocatalytic activity of the β/α-Bi 2 O 3 (A) and β/α-Bi 2 O 3 (B) samples mainly derives from the existence of the β/α-Bi 2 O 3 heterophase junction by suppressing the charge recombination and enhancing the charge transfer in photocatalysis (Figure 3d, Figure S2).
