As a maritime ethnic, Butonese people migrated to some places. A rather large amount of them are in Province of Maluku, Indonesia. This study aims at investigating Butonese cultural landscape in their new migrant region. Is there any different? If this study also aims to know social interaction among ethnics and how it affects Butonese cultural landscape dynamics. This study took place in Negeri Kawa, western part of Seram Regency, Maluku Province, on November 2015. The method used in the study was a qualitative method with in depth interview by snowball and triangulation technique, observation participation, focus group discussion (FGD), and literature study. The result showed that there is a different between Butonese cultural landscape in Buton and Negeri Kawa. Stereotype, presumption, and prejudice to Butonese people also occur. However, it is not always negative because from those three things, the process of acculturation and adaptation as a form of respect and prevention of Butonese culture can occur in Negeri Kawa.

The Yayasan Pendidikan Swadaya Gunung Jati (YPSGJ) in Cirebon is a foundation in social education. This foundation has land resources that have not been optimized and plans to develop one of their business unit in the tourism sector. This study aims to plan YPSGJ's land in Cibogo to be developed into a business unit in the tourism sector. This study is a tourism landscape planning study, therefore the method used refers to the Gunn planning stages which consist of setting objectives, research, synthesis conclusions, concepts, and recommendations. Data was collected by interviewing three key informants from YPSGJ, literature study, and observation. Data were analyzed using SWOT analysis to determine the planning concept. The results obtained from the land are planned to be an agriculture-based technopark by combining agro-edutourism activity. There are 7 activity concepts and 13 facility concepts spread over 4 spaces are proposed in this plan. The managerial implications of this study can provide input for YPSGJ to develop its land resources so that the benefits can be felt not only for internal YPSGJ but also for the Cirebon Municipality. The results of this study can also be used as a reference in the field of tourism landscape science as its practical implications.

Salah satu faktor ancaman konversi lahan pertanian di Indonesia saat ini ialah kurangnya minat generasi muda terhadap pertanian. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan advokasi kepada remaja di Kabupaten Sambas – Provinsi Kalimantan Barat bahwa pertanian itu adalah hal yang menyenangkan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama satu minggu dengan memberikan materi berupa diskusi santai dan praktik sederhana yang diselingi dengan permainan tebak-tebakan. Terdapat enam materi utama yang diberikan yaitu 1) pengenalan benih dan bibit, 2) pengenalan pulsing bunga potong, 3) pengolahan lahan dan perawatan tanaman, 4) panen, pascapanen, dan pemasaran sayuran, 5) dekorasi tanaman hias, serta 6) pengenalan unsur hara. Luaran manfaat yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah para remaja merasa senang dan muncul ketertarikan di bidang pertanian. Hal ini terlihat dari antusiasme berupa umpan balik secara aktif selama kegiatan berlangsung.
