Show more
“…This ongoing multicenterp rotocol with strictc riteria for patientselection,MIBG activity used, and a dosimetry protocol should bring morelight into the clinical value of 131 I-MIBG therapy. Furthermore, futurestudiesshould takeinto consideration recentdevelopments in neuroblastomai magings ucha st he useo fc arbon-11 labeled meta-hydroxyephedrine ( 11 C-HED) andw hole body imaging using PET/CT (8,9).…”
An independent advantage of I-131-MIBG therapy could not be proven in this retrospective analysis. The ongoing German Neuroblastoma Trial NB2004 will address the influence of (131)I-MIBG therapy with emphasis on tumour dosimetry.
