Personnel hygiene is very important in the pharmaceutical industry to prevent or reduce any kind of contamination which can affect the quality of medicinal products. When it comes to delivering highest quality standards of pharmaceutical products, key hygiene factors must to be upheld. Good personnel hygiene policies and practices are the foundation for successful product safety and purity. They are the backbone of a meaningful Good manufacturing Practices (GMP). Proper personnel training and sanitation are of prime importance. Personnel engaged in the manufacture, processing, packing, or holding of a drug product shall wear clean clothing appropriate for the duties they perform. All personnel should undergo medical check-up which may be a prerequisite for safe working condition. Personnel hygiene policies and procedures are to be followed by all personnel including management, visitors, production, sanitation and maintenance staff, for reducing the chance of product contamination. Personnel hygiene practices and procedures play a vital role in pharmaceutical industry in order to achieve a good quality and safe product.

You may agree with us when we say that the pharmaceutical business is not an easy one. It can prove to be quite a task to adapt to the changing healthcare standards, changing production requirements, changing government regulations, and incorporating the latest innovative technologies in the production process of drugs and medicines. Also, the competition is huge in the pharmaceutical business, and you can’t sustain long in the business if you cannot offer the best quality medicines to the customers at truly competitive prices. The whole pharmaceutical area needed various innovative and scientific solutions to solve the current problems related to cGMP practices, production, documentation, regulatory body requirements (US FDA, WHO, EU-GMP, PICS), quality of product, etc. Installing such software will help the Pharma industry to improve its cGMP practices and fulfill regulatory body’s requirements. It also covers the importance and their need in the Pharma industry. It also covers the meaning of software used in the pharmaceutical industry.

Background: Despite the many efforts made in the field of endoscope treatment procedures, the risk of infection remains topical. Methods: We conducted an evaluation audit of the manual cleaning procedure applied to flexible endoscopes at the Gastroenterology II department of the Mohamed V Military Instruction Hospital in Rabat. For this, we used a ready-to-use test for detecting ATP according to a bioluminescence reaction. Results: Biological control of the internal canal of the endoscopes used showed that the cleaning was not in conformity with the target value in 62% of the cases. External biological control was non-compliant in 54% of the cases. Conclusion: Compliance with the basic rules of hospital hygiene, the application of rigorous cleaning and disinfection procedures and the orientation towards automated endoscope disinfection systems are essential elements in the prevention and fight against post-endoscopic infections.
